NAS personnel have years of experience in development and implementation of marine sediment tests, and our Yaquina Bay location gives us direct access to the high quality seawater vital to their success.  The following tests are those most requested.  If your testing need is not listed, please inquire.

• Acute tests with infaunal amphipods (Rhepoxynius abronius, Ampelisca abdita, Eohaustorius estuarius, Leptocheirus plumulosus)
  
• L. plumulosus chronic test
  
• Survival and growth test with the polychaete Neanthes arenaceodentata
  
• Echinoderm and bivalve larval development tests
  
• Suspended phase tests: mysids, silversides, and bivalve larvae  
  
• Bioaccumulation studies with marine clams (e.g. Macoma) and polychaete worms (e.g. Neanthes).
